Hostel N1 in Sofia

I had such a lovely stay at n1 hostel in sofia, the rooms were clean, beds really comfortable, and the amenities were great. nina is so kind, and the people I met at the hostel were lovely too. It was my best stay in sofia, and I'd love to come back and stay with nina again. 100% recommend.

The owner is a lovely elderly woman who handles reception during the day. Her English isn't perfect, but she uses Google Translate and it worked really well. She was kind throughout, helpful whenever I needed something, and offered coffee in the mornings. I stayed three nights and would definitely recommend the hostel. There are quite a few rules, but they're clearly listed online, so nothing was a surprise. All the rooms are on one floor, along with a cozy living room, small kitchen, and shared rooms. I stayed in the deluxe female room, which was very comfortable and spotless.

Right in the heart of Sofia and next to a train station with a line to the airport, which was very convenient. The owner was warm and welcoming. Beds were perfectly fine, and the facilities were clean and adequate. Free coffee in the morning was a nice bonus. The common room works for socializing, but the place is also ideal if you want a quiet night. I'd absolutely return.

The owner and staff were great, and the owner kept checking that we were enjoying our stay and asking if we needed help. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean, the room had heating, and the beds were comfortable. I joined the Rila Monastery tour from the hostel, and we also went to Boyana Church and several viewpoints in the mountains. It was better than what most local agencies or tour groups offer. Amazing hostel in Sofia, one of the few that made me feel at home.
