Tsarsko selo Hotel & SPA

The rooms and spa were nice, and I enjoyed the stay, but I probably wouldn't return. It doesn't feel like a four-star hotel, and the real place doesn't look as good as the pictures, especially around the pool.

The stay was overpriced for Valentine's and the hotel made no effort to acknowledge the occasion. The reception was okay, but the rest of the staff were rude and unwelcoming. The barman stayed on his phone and wouldn't even acknowledge someone at the bar. Breakfast was lousy too. The orange juice machine was dispensing what seemed to be plain water, and the waitress seemed uninterested when I asked if that was normal. At checkout, reception asked whether we'd taken anything from the minibar. I said it was empty, and that I'd have told her if there had been anything in it. We also had to work out which apartment was ours because the numbering wasn't correct. I can't believe this dump has four stars. After that overpriced Valentine's stay and the lack of effort, I definitely won't be back.

We’ve stayed twice, and the meals, both dinner and breakfast, were great. The rooms are nice and the spa is super relaxing. Things could be a bit better organised, though parking is easy.

I was pretty satisfied with my solo business trip and would love to return. The room was huge, with a lovely feel to it, and a big balcony. I liked the hotel's concept, and the gym was quite decent. The breakfast itself was basic but acceptable, though I liked the breakfast area. The spa seemed nice too, but I didn't have time to try it. My only small concern was the staff. Most were amazing and professional, but a few seemed like they hated having to work there, which made things awkward.
