We had to book this hotel at the last minute after our original holiday was cancelled. Flight delays meant we arrived a couple of hours late. The person at the desk didn't seem to know what to do. He disappeared for a while, came back with our room keys, took them back, then vanished for another ten minutes. Eventually we got to a very run-down room with dirty beds, stained sheets, broken floor tiles, and dirty walls. My son, who has ASD and is germophobic, cried himself to sleep. A note was left under our door the next morning, and we were told we'd been given the wrong room. The second one was much cleaner, but still very worn down. It was cleaned just once in our second week, and only after I went to reception and asked them to send someone. The pool area was unsafe too, with loose boards around it. Breakfast was cold every day, always the same, and there were flies everywhere. The beach was a pleasant 20-minute walk away. We wouldn't stay here again.

Such a shame, as this might have been a great place to stay 20 years ago. The staff were nice people and tried their best, but the accommodation needs a proper clean, fresh paint, new mattresses, beds, doors, and a few other repairs. A full clean and some new mattresses would make it worth staying in. The bar and restaurant seemed to get more attention than any of the rooms. We arrived a little late after flight delays and were given a room by the night guy, who didn't know what to do. Breakfast was cold all nine mornings. We still made a holiday of it, and the three kids didn't know any better. Good thing eating out was affordable.

The owner and catering staff were fantastic people, really friendly and easy to approach. The location was great and the hotel was nice. A few staff left while we were there, though, and after that the buffet took a long time to refill at mealtimes. I'd love to come back in the future. Thanks for a fantastic stay.

A nice spot for a family holiday. The food was good overall, but there weren't other leisure activities. All-inclusive is basically the same as full board here: it includes meals, beer, coffee, and squash, which are also given to full-board and half-board guests.

RYOR Restaurant is tucked into a quiet corner of otherwise busy Sunny Beach, and it feels very cozy. The prices are moderate, the food is very good, and the staff are friendly. They have live music and a couple dances. If you're after a real holiday experience, I highly recommend it.
