Hotel Klisura

We only discovered this place on our last day, which was a shame. Sunday lunch was brilliant and our server was great. Afterward we played pool at the attached bar, Stans, One for the Road. It was busy but not noisy.

I wouldn't recommend this place. We had problem after problem with the room and food, and the way we were treated made it worse. Breakfast was the same cheap food every day, and on the third day there was expired meat and milk. The rooms are big, but ours had a broken AC, a warm fridge and bedside lights that didn't work. We went to the office about three times in ten minutes. Each time, the woman smiled and told us to get our money and leave because she was busy and full. The pool closes at 6pm, but she was allowed in after closing and swam there every day at 11. The housekeeping situation really bothered me. I was away from the room for 10-15 minutes and came back to find a cleaner searching through my wardrobe. She got scared and ran off. When I asked the front desk again, the woman smiled and said some things had fallen out of my wardrobe, even though I had only left one small bag there, the one the cleaner was looking at. We didn't get new towels until day three, and nothing was cleaned even when staff entered the rooms. Stay away if you have any respect for yourself.

The outside bar, Stans, was so much fun, and everyone on staff was lovely. We had a brilliant time, the rooms were big and the food excellent. Denzil and Henry from Oxford. We'll definitely be back.

I've stayed twice and would come back again. The rooms are lovely and large, the pool has plenty of sunbeds, and the staff are sound. Stans pub is the place to go for drinks and food. Can't fault the hotel.
