Mena Palace Hotel - All Inclusive

The food was really good, with lots of choices, and my room was clean. It was a long way from the beach, though. One of my favourite hotels, and I miss the place so much.

Would I recommend it? NOOOOO. The rooms are clean, and the shower is good and powerful, but the beds are awful and so uncomfortable that neither I nor my boys could sleep. One bed is a chair with what looks like built-on cupboard doors. We mostly got our sleep on the sunbeds. The food was cold and didn’t look appetising at all, so we ate salad when we could or went without. There was basically no daytime entertainment, just two people doing one dance to one song three times a day. Very boring, though I guess it’s okay for tiny ones. Night entertainment was every other night and was okay. The Michael Jackson show was the best one. The pool is quite big but very deep even at the shallow end, so I’d recommend armbands for children who can’t swim or aren’t confident. The bar staff were lovely. victoriya, todor and giorgi are so friendly, you could talk to them for hours.

The pool area was great, and the bar staff were friendly and helpful. There’s a nice outdoor area too, and we had no trouble finding seats or loungers, though things were getting busier the weekend we left. My son and I had a lovely time at Mena Palace, in a fab location near central Sunny Beach. The room was serviced every day, with clean towels and the bed made, so I’m surprised some other reviewers had a different experience. For all-inclusive, the food was fine, with a good choice of meat, vegetables, salads, and fruit. We ate out a couple of evenings, and it was very cheap. You have to buy pool towels, but that seemed standard at all the hotels in the area, and they’re cheap at the many nearby shops. Thank you.

The animation program was one of the highlights, with Liza and Kristina bringing so much energy and enthusiasm. They went above and beyond to make sure guests of all ages had a great time. The activities were varied and well organised, from games and sports to evening shows that entertained everyone. Their passion really showed and made the stay memorable. Mena Palace Hotel exceeded my expectations. It’s beautifully maintained, with clean, spacious rooms and all the amenities you could need. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help, making the stay feel welcoming and personal. Excellent facilities and the outstanding program led by Liza and Kristina make it a great choice for families and individuals. I highly recommend it for a wonderful holiday.
