Oleander House And Tennis Club

Oleander House is tucked into a quieter part of Sunny Beach, surrounded by tropical plants. It’s a peaceful little gem, run by three generations of a welcoming family who really care about guests and the details. The beach is only a five minute walk away, and it suited our group of 21 friends from my tennis club in Ireland perfectly. We made memories we’ll hold onto for a lifetime, and hope to make this an annual trip. I wholeheartedly recommend it to couples or families looking for comfort, safety, quality and friendliness. The rooms are spacious, the beds and pillows comfortable, and each room has a sizeable balcony with a table and chairs for evenings outside. Showers had great pressure and reliable hot water, with fresh towels every day. Breakfast was fresh, varied and consistently good, including croissants, watermelon, bacon and eggs, and cold meats. Everything was spotless inside and out, with cleaning staff around all day. There are excellent real clay tennis courts, maintained to a high standard and brushed and watered several times a day. The cute 18 hole crazy golf course sits among exotic plants and an aviary. We also liked the informal, comfy bar, with low prices, a big choice of drinks and amazing cappuccinos. We’re spending our honeymoon here and loving it. The place is super clean, the staff are really friendly, and parking is very good. It’s on a quiet street but still close to the beach, shops and center. Breakfast is fresh and very good, though it’s almost the same every day.

Thirteen of us came over from Ireland and had a fantastic few days at Oleander House. It’s a great spot for a group wanting tennis, a few drinks and a swim in the sea. The staff were lovely, friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were clean and well kept. We’ve just got back to Ireland from our third annual tennis holiday at oleander house, and it was fantastic again. The family looked after everything we needed from the moment we arrived, always helpful and friendly while staying professional. The rooms and outdoor dining area have also been refurbished. The hotel is spotless, and the courts were impeccable. We played a competitive mini tournament twice a day, every day. Some of us had our racquets restrung too, and they did a top class job. It’s a little piece of paradise, just a 2 minute walk from the beach and the busy strip of stalls, shops, bars and restaurants in sunny beach. Even with all that nearby, it’s so peaceful and tranquil. All you hear is tennis balls on clay. We’re already planning next year, and I can’t recommend this hotel enough.
