Hotel Amfora

The welcome was warm from the moment we arrived, and everyone’s kindness and hospitality made us feel at home. The owner, Mr. George, leads by example and treats guests and staff with warmth and respect. Tania and Zolikhah, and the rest of the staff, were always smiling, helpful and ready to assist. They made us feel valued and took care of every little detail. Everything was spotless, from the floors to the tables. Big thank you to the Owner Mr. George, Tania and Zolikhah.

I found this place online and was glad I booked it. It’s an amazing family hotel, with warm, helpful staff who answered all my questions before the stay. Being able to park my car in the yard and plug it in to charge was a nice bonus. It’s a PHEV, not a fully electric car. I like being able to connect with kind people, and I liked the place so much that I changed my plans and returned the following week. Both the double room and the two-floor apartment were great. If you’re staying in this area, I recommend it as a base for visiting local landmarks and beaches, not just for a stay in Saint Constantine and Helena.

I liked that the hotel was small and much quieter than a place with thousands of guests. The beach was about a 10-minute walk away, and the breakfast was a lovely surprise: generous, and you could order it the day before for €5. Our room was spacious and comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, and the service was great. It exceeded what we expected, and I’d recommend it.

We’d definitely stay here again. It’s a family-run place with really friendly, helpful staff, and our large room was exceptionally clean. They cleaned the grounds daily too. Shops are within walking distance, and there’s a pleasant walk down to the beach, where there’s a nice bar and restaurant. The hotel is just off the main bus route to Varna and Golden Sands, and fares are very cheap. It was a bit difficult for wheelchair users, but with a lot of help from my husband, I managed.
