Apartment Roman Thermae

The ruins look especially beautiful at night, and the scale is incredible. It was my first Roman bath, and the remains are estimated to stand around 20 to 22 meters high. You can apparently stay inside without a time limit. Modern stairs make access easier and help protect the site, but most areas are still open with few restrictions, so they seem vulnerable to damage or vandalism. I think it needs better supervision. There was just one staff member when I visited. They sold me a ticket and were polite, though rather neutral. More signs, photos, and explanations would make the visit much more informative. An on-site monitor with animated reconstructions and historical details would be a nice addition too.

It's fascinating to wander through these Roman baths. There are only a few maps and illustrations, though, so there's very little information to guide yourself around.

Great spot for walking around and looking at the ruins from the past. An amazing historic sight right in the middle of the modern city.

A great bit of heritage passed down from earlier generations, kept in good shape as a ruin. Going inside is much better, but even just seeing it from outside is pretty nice!
