The rooms are clean and spacious, and the garden is beautiful and well kept, with places to sit. The staff were pleasant and helpful. But the bathroom was a terrible experience: very tiny, no fan or window, a small sink, and you shower right over the toilet. It was noisy too. You can hear neighbours walking overhead or talking, while the old wooden doors, windows, and floors creak. Music and noise also come from the restaurant. The restaurant looks nice, but it’s expensive for what you get. The soup was terrible, and the fancy-looking dishes seemed to use cheap, basic ingredients despite their high prices. Parking is on the sidewalk by the road next to the guest house, so it’s hardly private parking.

The food was very tasty and the atmosphere was pleasant, but the service left a lot to be desired. We couldn’t eat together, even though I ordered the same dish. Everything we ordered arrived at separate times, so we ate separately. I asked for lemonade without sugar, but it came very sweet. The waiter turned their back on us.

It isn’t by the shore, but we still had a pleasant experience. The waitress was welcoming and friendly, unlike at some other places, and the food and lemonade were good. They don’t take cards, but they did accept Romanian currency. Recommend.

The building looks really nice, with a beautiful garden and rustic-modern design, and the staff were very, very nice. But the room I was given was awful, like it used to be a chicken coop. The shower hose was broken, the bathroom had no window or fresh air, and there was rust and mosquito blood on every wall, as well as blood on the dryer. The view was of some depressing barracks. I paid a high price, similar to what I’m paying now for a good, large apartment with a big terrace and sea view.

The prices were more than fair, and we enjoyed the drinks as well as the food. Vegetarians in particular will find plenty of good traditional dishes. We had a great time and will definitely come back!
