Al Safwa One

What upset me most was how this affected my father during a trip to Makkah that was supposed to feel comfortable, dignified, and spiritually meaningful. We had paid for breakfast at Al Safwa Tower 1 expecting it to include Suhoor, the pre-dawn Ramadan meal. But when he went to the hotel restaurant during Suhoor, staff told him to come back at 6 AM, knowing he would still be fasting. There was no breakfast then, despite what Booking.com advertised. Only afterward did the hotel say that “breakfast” meant Iftar after Maghrib. That was never made clear when I booked. Advertising breakfast and Suhoor together, then saying the paid breakfast was actually Iftar, felt deeply misleading and showed little respect or understanding toward fasting guests. We didn't receive what we had been led to expect, and the whole experience was unacceptable. I'd advise being very cautious when booking here.
