Bahrain Beach Bay Resort

The sea stays shallow for a long way out, and there are water sports, swings and a beach football area. My 7 and 3 year olds love coming here. There's free seating and shade, plus a mini supermarket, smoothie bar with lots of fresh fruit, and two places to eat. The restaurant has reasonable prices and generous portions, while the other spot does lunch snacks like club sandwiches, fries and wraps. On Fridays there are festivals, and the place gets lively after sunset. In the evening there's also a paid bouncy castle. Entry is BD 3 for adults and free for children. It's a convenient family beach, whether you want to relax or keep the kids busy.

The staff really made this stay for us. They were so attentive that they often seemed to know what we needed before we asked. For swimming and relaxing, you can choose between the big, sparkling pool and the soft, clean beach. A lovely escape for couples or a fun trip with friends. I highly recommend it.

We paid 12 BD for our families to enter after asking the man at the gate whether there was a beach where we could spend time together. He said there was a nice one, but we couldn't find anything that looked like a beach. We searched around, got nowhere, and left disappointed within minutes. It felt like we had been tricked into wasting our money. Don't spend your time or money here. There is no beach.

I've been coming to this resort for a long time, and the service and facilities have improved. The rooms by the parking area have been renovated and are now really nice and cozy. Most of the staff are kind, respectful, helpful, and easy to approach. Mr. Arif especially deserves praise. I had a very different experience with the supervisor, Mr. Aneesh. He was rude when speaking to me and dealing with questions and requests. His English is limited, which would be fine if he were kind, but he wasn't. Mr. ARIF should be in charge. My friends and I play beach volleyball here, but guests would need a net and ball provided. More beach activities could bring in new visitors and give regulars a reason to return. The beach could also use safe, clean, finer sand and a larger playground for children, set back from the sea so they can play with other kids with less supervision. Inflatables would be a nice addition.
