Gulf Executive Residence Juffair

I'm living here while serving in the Military in Bahrain, and wanted a place close to the base. I'm very happy with my apartment. The unit was pristine since I was the first person to live in it, and the building was only a year old. The cleaning and front desk staff have become family by proxy, and they're kind and thorough. I used the pool a lot while it was warm, and the gym equipment is more than enough. New Year's Eve update: management surprised all the residents with free chocolate cakes. They were gourmet, and based on market prices probably cost at least 20 BD each. Very impressive and unexpected.

I had an email confirming my Formula 1 weekend booking, but at 2 am when I arrived in Bahrain, reception told me the hotel was full. The nearby hotels were all booked too, and nobody even tried to help me find a solution. I had to search around for somewhere else to stay. It was a nightmare start to the weekend. I emailed the sales person who confirmed the reservation, and they didn't even apologize for the mistake.

We spent almost 10 days here and they deserve more than five stars. All the staff were great, including Mr. Wasi. We'll definitely come back next time 🤩🤩

Booking.com had confirmed our reservation, but when we arrived, the receptionist said there was no booking in the system. He'd entered the confirmation number incorrectly at first, which I only discovered later. When I went back to tell him, he didn't apologize or help. He just kept saying the hotel was sold out and blaming Booking.com. Warning to anyone going here: make sure you've booked somewhere else as a backup before you head over.
