The Westin City Centre Bahrain

Being directly connected to City Centre Mall made shopping and dining very convenient, and breakfast was very good. The atmosphere was relaxing and well kept, and the staff were polite and helpful throughout. My room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, especially the signature Westin Heavenly Bed. The Westin City Centre Bahrain works well for both business and leisure. Highly recommended.

Emad made a stressful situation much easier. He handled the logistics calmly and professionally, and basically rescued my flight. He was extremely helpful, capable, and attentive to details. Even after I checked out, he made sure my things were looked after and everything was completed properly. I’m very grateful for his help at the Westin Hotel.

I’m very unhappy with the service and still haven’t received the 1000 welcome points. Check-in took 30 minutes and wasted my time, and checkout was just as poorly handled: I asked for separate bills for each but was ignored, and my nights weren’t added. The breakfast staff member kept chasing me for a signature while I was still in the restaurant. Last week, I ordered eggs from the chef, but the waiter wrote down the order incorrectly. When I explained that I hadn’t asked for onion, he got upset, threw everything away, and left the order area. That was childish and unprofessional. I also reported the issues to the restaurant manager, but nothing was done. I emailed the hotel and got no reply. They don’t seem to care about platinum members, and no compensation was offered. This hotel hasn’t met the customer service standard I expect from a Marriott property.

The room wasn’t up to the hotel’s expected standard. The floor had not been cleaned properly, and when we walked in, there was a strong, unpleasant smell coming from the sleeping pillows. We reported it to the manager and asked him to come check and smell it himself, but this was a disappointing part of my stay at The Westin Bahrain.
