I’ve visited the island more than ten times and often stayed in private villas, so this was a lovely alternative. It gives you the St. Barts experience at a much better value than the luxury-priced options. Our two-bedroom villa was clean and simply furnished, with two bathrooms and a kitchenette that had everything we needed. We could easily walk to the beach and St. Jean town, and the small, clean pool was a pleasure. There were also beach chaises for guests to use. The proprietor was friendly, quick to respond, and helped us find what we needed. Croissants were even brought to our room early in the morning. I can’t say enough good things about this property. I’ll recommend it to anyone visiting the island, and we’ll be back.

The rooms and villas are sleek, modern, air-conditioned, and tucked into nature, so you hear birds and spot them on the way to the beach or pool. It feels like paradise here, with modern decor and staff who go out of their way to make you feel at home. The beach gives you lovely views, a great ocean breeze, and a sound that’s a real treat. The property sits more or less on the airport strip. You notice the planes coming and going, but they’re charming rather than bothersome. A few mosquitoes in the room and probably some small ants are minor annoyances, easily dealt with using spray or candles. Dining options are limited, with only one nearby, so you’ll need a car or be ready to walk 10-15 minutes to a restaurant or grocery store. They provide a full-size fridge, stove, pots and pans, and microwave. We’ll be back.
