We stayed two nights in a spacious three bedroom apartment. Each bedroom had an ensuite, and there was an open area with storage, a washing machine, washing line, and an extra shower and toilet. The living area had both a table and a kitchen island. Staff were amazingly friendly and accommodating. We were pleasantly surprised to get a $20 per night voucher toward breakfast at the cafe. The pool area was clean and pleasant. We did see monkeys in the afternoon, but there are trees and nature around. The oven was broken and the fridge wasn’t very cold, though we didn’t cook since food and drinks in Brunei are well priced. Towel quality was lower than at other destinations in Asia, but the same was true at the three hotels we stayed in Brunei, so it wasn’t specific to this place and didn’t bother us. There’s a corner shop and Indonesian restaurant nearby, and a short walk takes you to a recreational park and hiking area. It’s worth going early in the morning or late afternoon. Airport transfers both ways were included and efficient.

Breakfast was the weak spot. We got vouchers instead of a buffet, and the breakfast area was small. With only two chefs, the wait felt longer than a tour of Ulu Temburong National Park. Bring something to keep the kids occupied while waiting. The rest of our four night stay at Rimbun Suites & Residence during the March 2024 holidays was fantastic. The free airport pickup and drop-off were a big plus. Just email your stay and flight details. They won’t send a horse-drawn carriage, unless you’re hoping for one like I was. Our three room apartment was huge, with a bathroom for each room, clean and well kept furniture, and a kitchen for those brave enough to cook on vacation and do the dishes. The service was excellent too. The staff kept smiling even when we asked for a tenth extra pillow. I’d recommend it for families visiting Brunei. I hope I can afford another trip there someday.

For people working in Brunei, I recommend staying at this lovely place. They offer services around the clock, clean the apartment weekly, and change the sheets in every room. The staff treat you with great courtesy. It’s in the center of the capital, close to everything. I’d also recommend it for a weekend or a party. I’ve left Lucy’s number for any inquiries.

Colors24 felt like home for a stay with my family. The room was comfortable, nice, and spacious, and my kids loved the swimming pool. The staff were friendly and the service was good. We’re looking forward to coming back.
