The rooms and beds were excellent, and I liked the hotel. The restaurant staff could have been more helpful, though. On my first morning, I didn’t know I could order eggs or an omelette until a waiter offered after I’d already been at breakfast for over half an hour and helped myself to the buffet a few times. The next day I waited 5-10 minutes without anyone offering, so I went over and asked about the choices and ordered an omelette.

The hotel is incredible for the price, and the other staff members were great. Still, it was frustrating when they wouldn’t let us stay with our parent in the room they’d booked, even just for three hours. We explained we hadn’t seen them for six months and this was the end of our short trip together, but they wouldn’t budge.

The spa was a highlight, with a warm pool and saunas, and we also had fun in the games area with table tennis and billiards. The stylish design gives Hotel Mitru Sur a calm, elegant feel. Staff were welcoming and attentive from check-in through the rest of our stay. Breakfast was among the best we had on our trip, and dinner at the restaurant tasted great. It’s a bit farther from the airport, but the value for money is excellent. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it.

A great hotel with a big, clean room and a really good breakfast. The staff were friendly and did what they could to make the stay comfortable.

The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful, and my room was very clean and comfortable. After a four-day 4x4 trip through natural parks in southern Bolivia, I especially appreciated the great shower. The pool and gym were nice extras for relaxing and staying active. I highly recommend the hotel for its comfort and service.
