Hotel Casablanca

I don't recommend this hotel. Our charity sent volunteers there in November to help with the fires. The hotel charged us significantly more than the invoice showed, billing in USD instead of BOB. They've refused to refund the money and have stopped answering us.

The staff were very nice, and the room itself was nice, but the bed sagged in the middle and was uncomfortable. When we arrived, they put us in a junior suite even though we'd booked a suite several weeks before the trip. We had to go down to reception twice before we got the right room. Then two pieces of my clothing went missing during our stay. I was really upset thinking someone had gone through our things. It would have been 4 stars without these problems. I'd advise locking your suitcases or skipping room cleaning during your stay.

There's no bar, and breakfast is pretty basic, but bars, restaurants, and a shopping centre are close by. The staff don't speak much English. I managed with the free WiFi and Google Translate. Perfectly adequate for a business stay.

The service was great and very helpful, and the location is convenient for business trips at an affordable price. But the rooms have poor sound insulation. You can hear people next door, above you, and below you.
