Hostal Butch Cassidy

The owners are friendly and helpful, and we also used their laundry service. It was quick and worked well. We booked the four-day Uyuni tour through their own "Voy tour" company and really enjoyed it, with lots of highlights and an awesome guide and driver, Ovidt. Our room was comfortable, had an external window, and the shower had good hot water. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice: bread, pancakes, fresh papaya, banana and apple, granola and yogurt. Highly recommended for a stay in Tupiza!

We felt at home as soon as we got there. The owners were so friendly. They also run the shop next door and kindly let us hang out there while we waited for our night bus. The hostal was clean, the showers were great and breakfast set us up for the day. Don’t hesitate to book!

The room itself was very basic. We were three people but had no instructions, and only one person had a paper with their name and the room key. We had to call the manager and wait 45 minutes before finally waking him up. The hotel is outside the city center, so good luck finding somewhere open nearby at night. We arrived late, at 10:45 pm, because of the protests, and the hotel was closed with nobody expecting us. Thank goodness we were with two others, and one of them had the entry code to get into the hostel.
