Hostal Cagnapa Restobar

We appreciated being allowed to check in early after arriving from La Paz at 8 AM. The room was large and clean, with a hot shower, and the breakfast was fair for 40 Bolivianos. It's within walking distance of the Uyuni bus station and lots of tour companies. Apart from that, everything was perfect.

The hosts gave us really helpful tips on where to eat and buy things we needed. Even though I know very little Spanish, I could still communicate with them. The room was spacious, the toilet clean, and it had the hot water and heating just as described. There's a lovely courtyard where I could rest, plus unlimited safe drinking water for making tea. When my husband felt ill from the altitude, they let us check in early. They even let us put down our bags before finishing the check-in process, which was such a thoughtful gesture and one I rarely encounter. The kitchen wasn't open for everyone to use, but they let me heat food in the microwave for my husband since he couldn't go out to eat. This has honestly been one of the best places to rest, especially after the salt flat tours. I appreciated it so much. Thank you!

Every room faced the inner courtyard, which made things very quiet for sleeping, though there was no natural light. We had comfortable beds and good hot water. The bathrooms could have been a little better, but it was no big deal for one night. The common area had leather couches and a hot water heater we could use. After arriving from La Paz at 6 AM on an overnight bus, the owner let us in and checked us into our room quickly. We got three hours of sleep before our Salt Flat tour, which was amazing. Breakfast was available from 8-10 AM for 30 BOB. We could walk to the bus station in under five minutes to continue our trip.

The room was spacious and quiet, and the beds were comfortable. After three days touring the country, this was a perfect place to rest. We stayed after the three-day salt flat tour and had an amazing time. It was an easy walk, just three blocks from where we were dropped off. The gentleman running the place was very nice and booked us a taxi to the airport the next day for 30 Bolivianos. I'd definitely stay again if I'm in the city.
