After my wallet was stolen while I was walking around Uyuni, the staff here were so sympathetic. I lost about 80 USD, but thanks to them I could leave Uyuni without hard feelings. It's a well-run place, seems to be a family business, and the staff are kind, helpful, and caring. The location is good, and the room price was reasonable.

The breakfast buffet was amazing, and the beds were comfortable. It's a nice place to recover and get ready for a Salar de Uyuni tour. The rooms were clean, too. I spent two nights here, one on either side of my Tour de Salt.

I understand wanting to avoid currency fluctuation risk, but then they should charge in USD instead of inventing an exchange rate and overcharging guests. Booking.com listed the room at 45 USD, but on arrival they required payment in BOL and used a rate of 1 USD to 9 bol, even though the real rate at the time was 1 to 6.5. That made the room 60 USD. We cancelled on the spot.

We didn't stay at the hotel, just went to the churrasqueria. The sausage, chicken leg, and steak were lovely, and there were some nice fresh vegetables and salad. The chips came cold. It wasn't cheap, but it was tasty. One meal and two large beers cost 90 Bolivia's.

The friendly staff and relaxing, cute patio made this a lovely place to spend my day resting in Uyuni. It was bright, sunny, and very clean. I loved the hotel and would definitely come back.
