The room was clean and comfortable, and the location made it easy to reach restaurants and tour agencies. I don’t speak Spanish, but the staff were incredibly kind and patient. On my arrival morning, they let me leave my luggage. I then decided at the last minute to join a three-day tour, but I’d left my things scattered in the room and was short on time. When I explained, the staff offered to keep my luggage safely in their office. That kind of thoughtful help isn’t something I take for granted. Their kindness and care moved me, and thanks to them I was able to join the tour. I’m very grateful.

Right in the centre of Uyuni, Kory Wasy has a fantastic location. I had a great stay after the Salar de Uyuni tour, and would recommend it to friends and family :)))) The service was outstanding. Karina was so warm and friendly at check-in, and I later spent some time chatting with her at the reception desk. The men serving breakfast the next morning were lovely, and the food was delicious: coffee, freshly squeezed juice, fruit, cereal, bread and crackers, and freshly scrambled eggs. The hostel’s heated room was a welcome comfort. The shower got hot, though the single tap was fiddly: turn it only a little, because too far and the water goes cold. Pressure wasn’t great either, but at least it was warm. The pillows were fluffy and lovely, though the mattress sagged in the middle.

They let me into my room early when I arrived ahead of time, which was so kind. The staff were super nice and helpful, the room and bathroom were clean, and the bed was cozy. Totally recommend!

After we’d paid, the heat didn’t work and breakfast wasn’t provided, even though we’d been sold the room with the expectation that both heat and breakfast were included. They gave us a space heater that shone like a spotlight, making it hard to sleep with such an intense light. We were almost freezing, so we asked for a refund to move hotels, but the staff refused. Terrible place. I wouldn’t stay here for free.
