I went for a three-day retreat, and it was a great chance to slow down and disconnect for a while. The candlelight adds to the calm atmosphere, though there is electricity for charging phones and other devices. The house is welcoming and really comfortable, with staff and an owner who pay attention to the little things. The setting is beautiful, surrounded by nature and several waterfalls.

The team was so attentive, and Luís, our host, really cared about everyone's comfort and safety. You wake up to the sound of a waterfall and open the window to a magnificent view. The cozy house has clearly been thought through in every detail, and candlelight gives the evenings a special feel. There’s solar power for charging your phone, too. Clear water, imposing mountains, and an indescribable energy make this a lovely place to step away from daily life and reconnect with what matters.

Waking up to a waterfall view felt healing to me. It was one of the best experiences of my life, and I hope others get the chance to be there, especially for group activities. Luís is kind, helpful, and wise. Everything was wonderful, and I recommend it to everyone.

The Minas Gerais food is delightful, even for people from Minas Gerais, and the sky there is wonderful. Luis and Carla make a real difference with the care and warmth they give everyone. Being at Patrimônio do Matutu brings me closer to nature and other people, and I always leave remembering who I am.

The vegetarian and vegan restaurant was a real comfort during the day's intense yoga practice. The food was healthy, nourishing, and delicious, and there was a warm, welcoming feeling around it. You can enjoy nature here while still having what you need for a comfortable, peaceful stay. Luis and Karla put in the ongoing work that makes the experience possible. We highly recommend it.
