Barcelona Beach Residence

A really good, peaceful, cozy inn. The service at Mr. Paulo’s restaurant is wonderful.

The room was fine and comfortable enough for the stay, and the team was helpful and attentive. My only letdown was that the bedspreads weren’t as clean as I expected. Apart from that, it was a positive experience.

We really enjoyed Canoa Quebrada. At the inn, we had access to a shared kitchen, but it needs better organization and furniture maintenance. The dishes are outdated, some plates and saucers are chipped, the fridge and stove are in poor condition, and some cups have broken handles. The kitchenware needs replacing and better upkeep. Many thanks.

My family traveled from another state to visit Canoa Quebrada, and we booked six rooms at the same inn through Booking so we could all stay together. The reservations were confirmed, then we got a message asking us to pay 50% by Pix. We all paid, and the bookings still showed as confirmed on the site. Some of us later received messages saying payment was missing. We immediately sent the Pix receipts to the inn’s WhatsApp. Then, around 8 pm the night before our trip, we got a call saying five of the six reservations had been canceled because the rooms had been given to other guests. How could that happen while the bookings were still confirmed on the site? I think the inn may have taken direct bookings without considering the ones already secured. We planned the trip well in advance and were all ready and excited. This came as a shock and ruined our trip. They showed no commitment or professionalism, and especially no empathy for their customers. Terrible.
