David, one of the owners, is such a nice guy and helps with everything. That matters a lot if you’re not Brazilian and don’t speak Portuguese. Breakfast is really good, and there’s free fruit all day. Extra services, like ordering a meal or getting something from the minibar, are reasonably priced. We were there during the World-Cup games, and the atmosphere was great. All the staff we met were welcoming and very nice. It’s in a perfect location, and I highly recommend it.

Looking back on a stay in 2008, it was lovely, like a little piece of paradise back then. The food, pool, room, drinks, and people all stick in my memory 😊 I was just checking Google Maps to see if it was still there, and I still remember the place now.

We got in late at night, and I already love this place. On our 30-day road trip, this room, bathroom, and shower are the biggest we’ve had at any pousada or hotel. The place feels relaxed and welcoming. There’s a large, secure parking garage across the street, and the main street is just one block away, so it’s easy to get to while still being peaceful and quiet. The minibar has lots of items at normal prices. There’s a nice shelf for bags and luggage, a huge desk counter for sorting our things, and outlets all over for charging devices if you have the standard Brazilian type N adapters. The staff we’ve met have been extremely hospitable. The TripAdvisor and Google reviews were right, this place is awesome.

The room was very basic, and there was no shampoo in the bathroom. I also found it annoying that the manager chose to push his political views on me, talking about “the evilness of the European Union and how great Brexit is going to be.” What stood out in a good way was the wide breakfast selection, the swimming pool, and the location between Broadway and the beach.

The rooms were clean and roomy enough for three beds, and breakfast was delicious. The staff were helpful, the service was great, and the place had really nice background music.
