Flat Toque dos Milagres

The place is well located, the kitchen is fully equipped, and the value is hard to beat. Everton really made the stay, though. He was organized, always available, and helped us with everything. You could tell he cared about us.

The room was basic, and the air conditioning worked fine. The street was quiet, so at first things seemed okay. But the smell of mold was strong, the walls were dirty, and the bedding smelled moldy too. Water collected in the shower area and spread into the room. The next day, there was a cockroach on the bed. We didn't get any reception when we arrived, probably because it was already 10:15 pm.

Everton welcomed us wonderfully and was there to help throughout our stay. Our suite was very clean and had a mini fridge, TV, and air conditioning. The rustic style carries through the decor and the building. Because of the way the houses are built, the first two rooms at least don't have windows. There are several restaurants nearby, though most have a fairly sophisticated feel. The parking area is spacious and sits before the property, but it isn't covered. That didn't get in the way of our stay. The property has a pool, which we didn't use. We had a great time, 10 out of 10 😎🫶

I had a bad experience. The flat smelled of mold, the bedding was old, and the fridge was dirty. At night there were cockroaches in both the bathroom and the living room. The property is listed on Airbnb, but during booking the host said there were problems with the platform and used that as a reason to arrange the reservation through WhatsApp. The most recent Airbnb review was from 2020, so it didn't reflect the current condition.
