The pool was always spotless, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Now and then there was a bit of noise from the air conditioning, though. The women working there were especially kind, and I appreciated how consistently they took care of the room cleaning. Everyone was friendly, warm, and ready to help. It’s in a handy spot near downtown, a few blocks from supermarkets, and especially close to the bus and van terminal, which made getting around and taking excursions much easier. Breakfast was good, if a little short on variety. They also put out a complimentary afternoon snack to share, a lovely touch. A really nice place to stay, and I’d return.

It’s not right in the center, but Orla Bardot is an easy walk away, and from there you can enjoy a nice stroll into downtown. The room was comfortable and spotless, and breakfast was fresh and delicious. Staff were helpful, and whenever we ran into an issue, they sorted it out right away. We had a very good stay and will book here again when we come back.

Our room was next to the breakfast area, and the noise started early enough to wake us up. We’d booked a pool-view room through the app, but the view was actually of the dining room. The room also looked much nicer in the pictures, and the air conditioning barely cooled it. One day it wasn’t cleaned at all. The location wasn’t great either, about a 15-minute walk to downtown. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it.

The room was clean, but the rest of the experience was very poor. The pool was filthy, and breakfast was bad: the bread was hard, the ham seemed spoiled, the cereal was stale, the orange juice tasted off, and the cake wasn’t good. The only thing I liked was the hot dog sauce, even though its bun was hard too. The place looked completely different from the photos. The Pousada do Adriano is highly rated and very different from the Suítes do Adriano, which seemed neglected. Maybe the difference is because it’s closer to the center, but that shouldn’t mean the suites can have a lower standard. I really don’t recommend it.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and I’m giving three stars partly because they were willing to try to fix things. But the place didn’t make for an enjoyable vacation, and we left early to finish our trip somewhere else. It’s expensive for what you get. The services and facilities are very basic, the rooms are small, and the breakfast was so limited that after trying it once, we didn’t go back. They did offer to change our bed, which didn’t match the photos or description, but the stay still fell short. The location is good, close to downtown and the beach. I’d only suggest the room for someone who wants little more than a bed and a shower.
