The view is the one real plus, though the nearby hotels have it too. Our room was covered in mold: on the pillows, bed, curtains, walls, and air conditioner. The walls looked as if someone had painted over the mold, but it was already coming through again. This feels like a health hazard. Staff were neither friendly nor helpful. The manager said we would get a refund, but we still haven't received the money. Weeks later, the hotel and manager are ignoring our messages about sorting it out. Nearby hotels told us this happens often, and that many guests leave without staying even one night.

The setting is quiet and peaceful, and breakfast was delicious. The hotel could use some updating and maintenance, but if you're coming to unwind with friends or family, you'll enjoy it. The location and views are great.

The staff were so polite and helpful, and the pool and location were both a 10/10. Buzios is one of the loveliest places I've visited, and I'll be back. For an ocean view, though, you need to book an ocean front room. The room needed a couple of fixes: the safe didn't work and the wardrobe door was faulty. Breakfast wasn't anything special either, with only scrambled eggs and hotdogs as the cooked options. Still, it's a lovely hotel and I'd recommend it.

The setting is beautiful, but the service really lets it down. The staff weren't helpful or friendly, and the way they spoke to us came across as rude. Customer service was my main concern. They even charge for drinking water, which I thought should be complimentary at a hotel.

We booked a presidential suite, but its bathtub didn't work. When we asked to switch rooms, nobody responded, and we're still waiting for them to somehow fix it. I don't see how they can. If you're planning a romantic stay, stay away. Don't spend your money here.
