Flats Paguru

The inn looks nice, the service is good, and it's near the beach. Our apartment, though, was unpleasant. It was clean, but there was a strong bathroom odor and a lot of humidity inside. We were meant to stay until Wednesday the 12th, but we left today, March 7th, for Rio because we didn't want to stay there any longer. We only planned to sleep there, but we lost money and wanted somewhere much better.

The guesthouse is in a peaceful area, handy if you're coming to rest. I stayed in room 4. It didn't have a kitchen, but there were plates, cutlery, and tulip glasses available to use. They cleaned the room on the third day. The room was spotless, the towels and bed linen were in great condition, and the mattress and pillows were comfortable. The minibar kept things very cold, the air conditioner worked well, and there was also a ceiling fan for anyone who doesn't like AC. Parking is on the property, with a remote control that makes getting in and out easy by car. Mr. Darcy, the owner, was friendly and very helpful. I felt at home and plan to come back. It's very close to Geribá and Ferradurinha beaches, with shops nearby and the lively Rua das Pedras just a few minutes away. Parking can be hard in this tourist area, especially on Rua das Pedras, even when paying for the rotating parking.

The rooms are very good and have everything you need. It's close to Rua das Pedras. I was unlucky at the parking entrance: the car in front of me shut the gate as I was driving in and dented the whole side of my car.

This is a comfortable, practical family stay with privacy and good value. The location is great, close to Geribá and Ferradurinha beaches. Our flat had everything we needed for two adults and two children, though nothing fancy: a full kitchen with fridge, stove, cookware, dishes, cutlery, glasses, cups, and a dining table and chairs. There was also air conditioning, fans, a TV, electric shower, laundry sink, and bedding. The pillows were good and the mattresses comfortable. We liked having a little balcony to chat on. Parking is inside the inn, and the gate opener is on the keys. The other families seemed to enjoy the yard space outside their flats too. It has a relaxed, homey beach feel. We made breakfast ourselves, and there’s a bakery on the same sidewalk, 50 m away. There are also plenty of local shops for groceries, a pharmacy, snacks, and ice. Mr. Darcy welcomed us warmly and was helpful and friendly. We felt at ease during our stay. I recommend it for families with kids, older people, and adults looking for a peaceful place to stay together.
