Nova Luar de Geribá

Luciano and his family are always ready to help, and they take great care of the guests. The inn is clean, comfortable, quiet, and safe, and the owners are very attentive. It's simple and peaceful, and staying here was a pleasure. The location in Geriba is really good.

The best part was the welcome from Luciano and Marceli. They're so friendly and attentive, and made us feel at home. The inn is in a quiet, safe street, close to Praia de Geribá and local shops. Breakfast was generous and clearly made with care, with a good choice of breads, fruit, and homemade cakes. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the air conditioning, TV, and shower all worked well. Great value. I recommend it!

The staff's response about the clothes I left behind was very frustrating. I'm certain I forgot several items in the room, described them in detail, and was told nothing had been found. I was also disappointed by how little flexibility there was when my sister needed to come into the room briefly to do her makeup. We were bridesmaids at a wedding, and even after I explained, the inn treated a short visit as if an outside guest would be using the facilities. I felt the staff lacked empathy at a special time for us. Hospitality should include common sense and understanding the situation, and that wasn't my experience at Luar de Geribá.

Getting back from the beach, it was always nice to find everything smelling fresh and neatly arranged. The cleaning is very thorough, and the rooms are really good. Luciano, the owner, is attentive and kind, as is the family who help run the inn. It's a welcoming, family place that still has a bit of a hotel feel. Breakfast is simple but carefully done, with fresh food and fruit cut right then. The pool isn't big, but it works well for the inn's nine apartments, and the social area never felt crowded or unpleasant. The beach is so close, just a two-and-a-half-minute walk, under 100 meters away. I liked everything, recommend it, and would return.
