Pousada Bem Búzios

The location is peaceful but still close to plenty of shops, the lagoon, Geribá Beach, and the lovely Porto da Barra food area. Getting around is easy. Everything was spotless, from the room to the quality mattresses, pillows, and linens. Breakfast had lots of variety, and the service was great.

I spent five days here and felt very welcome. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of choices, and the staff were warm and welcoming too. The place is secure and close to everything. The mother and daughter who run it are attentive and hardworking, and you can tell they love what they do. The inn was clean and organized, and both the Wi-Fi and air conditioning worked really well.

We’ve now been to Búzios three times as a family, and Pousada Bem Búzios came out on top among the three places we’ve stayed. The other two were pousada dos Guardiões and pousada Costa del Sol. Being right near one of Búzios’s best food centers made it easy to get around on foot, and the inn’s location near the entrance to town is quiet and family-friendly. Inside, everything was clean and well organized, our room was comfortable, and breakfast was very good. Milena and the staff looked after us so well that we all felt comfortable and happy with our stay. Congratulations to the whole team.

The one small drawback for me was the Wi-Fi in our room. The signal was weak, so I had to use the pool area or entrance when I needed to look up places, restaurants, or Ubers. As an Argentinian without mobile data in Brazil, reliable internet mattered, though this was only a minor annoyance and didn’t spoil my stay. I went with my sister for eight days. Our room at Pousada Bem Búzios, in the Porto da Barra/Geribá area, was small but perfectly fine for two. They cleaned every other day, which suited me, and left the room neat, spotless, and smelling nice. Breakfast was tasty, with bread, fruit, and juice every day. I don’t eat much in the morning, so I didn’t try everything, but the cheese bread was especially delicious. Check-in was easy, and the receptionist was consistently helpful and friendly. The pool stayed clean, the loungers were in good shape, and it was a pleasant place to unwind after the beach. There are lots of shops nearby. At Porto da Barra, you can watch the sunset, eat with a nice view, or just browse around. It’s a little way from the center and Rua das Pedras, but vans go up and down the main avenue for 5 reais, and walking along that road is manageable.
