Pousada Bucaneiros

There’s lovely nature right inside the inn, and the location is very convenient, on the way to the beach and close to Rua do Mucugê and its shops. The internet and air conditioning were both very good. The owner was polite and welcoming, and breakfast was wonderful. Simply perfect.

Just one thing could be better: the shower uses solar heating, so at night the water wouldn’t get warm, even with the electric shower switched on. It didn’t ruin my stay, but it could be improved. The inn is simple, rustic, and very well cared for, with plenty of green space and a quiet atmosphere. Ricardo and Claudia were attentive and cordial hosts, and always had great suggestions for places to visit. The location is excellent, close to the beach and on a street with lots of restaurants and nightlife.

I slept so peacefully in the rustic room, especially with its little balcony and hammock. The breakfast was really good too, with fresh, delicious food. The location is a big plus. The inn is on Rua do Mucugê, Arraial D'ajuda’s main street, so it’s close to going out at night and to the main beach access during the day. Ricardo gave us plenty of tips on beaches and restaurants on our first day. He and Cláudia are both great people, and we had some really good chats during the stay. Everything was perfect, highly recommend!

The breakfast has something for different tastes, with fruit, cakes, breads, cheese bread, coffee, juice, tapioca, and scrambled eggs. The women there made me a tapioca just the way I like it, which was such a sweet touch. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, spotless, and smelled lovely. There’s parking, too. Bucaneiros is in a great spot in Arraial d’Ajuda, close to the beach and the Quadrado de Arraial. Even near the town center, it felt safe and quiet, a good place to rest. The staff were kind and courteous, and the owners were so friendly. Ricardo gave us several useful tour tips. I was charmed by Bebel! I loved it and recommend it again and again.
