A good place to stay.

The morning receptionist, Luciana, was the one good part of our stay. She welcomed my wife and me warmly and did everything she could to make things go well. The place itself was awful: the mattress was broken, the TV was an old tube set, and although we booked a suite with air conditioning, what we got was an air cooler that only blew air. We asked whether reception was open 24 hours and the receptionist said yes, so we felt reassured. But after going out that night, we came back to a closed reception. The person on night duty was asleep, leaving us outside along with another couple. When we managed to contact the owner, he said he was 10 kilometers away and could only try to reach the person responsible. I won't come back, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

At low season the inn is affordable, but the rooms are extremely basic. They do have a mini-fridge and air conditioning. The TV is very old, the picture is poor, and when it loses signal it only gets Record. The rooms are right up against each other, and the gaps in the bathroom walls are shared. If the neighbors are noisy or have kids, forget about getting a peaceful night's sleep.

Getting to the beach is easy, and apart from the room issues, everything else was okay. But I stayed six days with a broken shower. There was a lot of indifference and no real effort to fix it, just repeated excuses that it would be sorted out. An employee finally repaired it on the last day, and it turned out the breaker had been switched off. Why hadn't anyone checked that earlier? The internet was poor and didn't reach my room, number 1. The place needs a lot of improvements.
