Pousada Pavanelli

I want to be clear that I never stayed at this pousada and never will. My “terrible” rating is about the way I was treated. I contacted the owner to book for Carnival 2019 because the location looked good, and she was very welcoming at first. She sent me photos and quoted the prices for March 2-5 over WhatsApp. I then explained that the booking was for my parents, a couple who are both 56. Two hours later, she said there were no dates available for Carnival after all, contradicting what she'd told me earlier. She also said Carnival in town wasn't for older people because of water and power shortages and crowded beaches, and that it was for young people. After that, she blocked me on WhatsApp. I'm grateful she made her views clear. I don't support discriminatory or prejudiced thinking, and I would never put the most important couple in my life in the care of owners with such outdated, backward attitudes. Carnival is for everyone.

The pousada is so well looked after, and the rooms are spacious, with a hammock in each one. The pool was clean, the rooms were cleaned every day, and the bathrooms had bright white grout. The towels and sheets were clean too, and there’s plenty of room to park. The staff were polite, and Sr Claudio was especially kind and attentive. Breakfast was wonderful. I loved the cheese chichê, pizza pie, and carrot cake with chocolate. They really made a difference. So cozy, I'd happily recommend it. A 10 from me!

The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. I was treated really well too. It's one of the best pousadas I've stayed at, and I'll definitely come back with my friends.

The neighborhood felt quiet and safe, and even with the pousada full, I didn't hear noise from other guests. We were there for three days in Arraial do Cabo, and the pousada was great. Our room was spacious enough for a family of four, with a double bed and bunk bed. Everything felt spotless, including the sheets and pillows, and the towels were replaced every day even though they didn't need to be. Breakfast was very good, the minibar worked well, and the parking was easy to reach from the rooms.
