Porto Preguica Resort

We’ve only been here a day and are already having a wonderful time. The staff are on top of things. During lunch, the woman at reception came to find us and let us know our rooms were ready. There’s a potter at the back of the resort who sells his work and makes the ceramics used around the resort, including lanterns, soap dishes, and decor. Lunch was delicious. We ordered yucca fries, chicken Milanese, potato salad, mixed salad, and grilled fish with mushrooms and capers. The portions were huge, enough for about 3-4 people for the chicken Milanese, and there was plenty for our group of four. Everything was crisp on the outside and soft inside. Can’t wait for dinner! There are three pools: a regular one, one with sand, and one with water flowing from the river. Facilities also include a gaming room, gym, outdoor playground, and outdoor exercise machines. They have adjoining rooms for families. Our room is really clean and spacious, and we love the extra sink outside the bathroom when sharing with someone. Highly recommend!

The resort is excellent, and the room was huge and spacious. The restaurant serves the best breakfast, including delicious tapioca with coconut and condensed milk. The 3 milk cake was delicious too. There’s a water filter to refill your bottle and avoid wasting money on water. Dinner is nice there as well, though a little expensive. There are three swimming pools, and you can pick up clean towels at reception for the pools or activities outside the hotel.

We had an amazing 3 night stay. The accommodation for five people is huge, with so much space and two bathrooms. The staff were welcoming and very helpful, the service was efficient, and the food was very good quality. This is a great hotel for kids while exploring the Lencois, with lots of fun leisure facilities. Some upkeep is needed for the ping pong table and video games. There are three pools, and our favorite was the one fed by river water. Highly recommended.

It’s a lovely hotel with good food, good pools, good wifi, and good AC in the units. Getting there is a little difficult, but once you arrive, you don’t want to leave. For Americans, the language barrier can be a bit challenging. The staff are patient while you use Google translate.
