Hotel Estação

The room was tiny, with barely 30 cm on either side of the bed to move around, and a window less than 30 cm wide. Nothing matched the app listing my friend and I booked from. It showed a spacious room and said there’d be a mini fridge and hair dryer, with items from the minibar charged separately. Neither appliance was there. The breakfast photo looked lovely, but when it arrived my friend and I just laughed. The French roll was smaller than a little dinner roll, seemed frozen, and came to the room nearly raw. The juice was a tiny cup of industrial orange drink, about the size of a low-fat yogurt, and tasted awful, like sour orange. The hall light stayed on all night and shone into the room through gaps around the door. It looked like the door was smaller than the doorway. The kitchen staff made a huge racket all night too. I don’t think a kitchen should be right by the rooms in this kind of setup, but they seem to have squeezed in as many micro rooms as possible and put the kitchen above them. We only stayed because we arrived late and there were no other hotels with vacancies, since there was an event in the area. We’d booked this hotel days ahead after being drawn in by the photos, but it was nothing like them. I don’t recommend it.
