Pousada Familiar

My reservation was cancelled for no reason, and they didn't try to contact me first. After that, they ignored all my emails. Not reliable.

I wouldn't recommend staying here. The pousada is old and poorly maintained, and there was no electric shower. That detail wasn't mentioned in any of the listings, which I think is a serious lack of transparency. We arrived at the end of the day, and when it was time to leave, they wouldn't offer any flexibility or even a late checkout. I was travelling with my 82-year-old mother, who has a disability and dementia. The place isn't accessible, which made the stay quite difficult. It's under new management and no longer includes breakfast, so the value is even worse. There are better-located pousadas in the same area for less, with breakfast included, so it's worth checking around before booking. The bedding had stains, and the pillows had plastic under the pillowcases. Every time you moved, the plastic made noise, making it practically impossible to sleep. The experience was negative, and I wouldn't stay here again.

Being able to walk to Morro Branco beach was great. The pousada is cozy and peaceful, with a sea view. The rooms were clean and tidy, and everyone was very polite.

My wife and I loved this place. The owner is a very polite and attentive woman. Really lovely all around.
