The location by the beach in Uruao was beautiful, and the hotel itself was great. Our room was comfortable and attractive, with a lovely view and a nice terrace. Staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was very good. There were a few small maintenance issues in the room: a blown bulb above the bathroom sink, a worn door lock, and some bathroom stains. None of that mattered much. The bigger drawback was the pool. Both the water and the pool itself were a bit dirty. Also, the staff didn't speak English. Aside from those things, it was a perfect stay.

A nice spot for a few quiet, relaxing days, with friendly staff and very reasonable food and drink prices. We went during the week and practically had the place to ourselves. It's quite far from any city, which is both a drawback and part of the appeal. The place was a bit hard to find, and the beach roads are best avoided if you don't have a car.
