Hotel Majestyc

I'm staying here by the month, and for what I can afford, it has been good. The room is large, the air conditioning is quiet, the TV is there, and the shower works well. There's no breakfast. I pay 1,000 reais monthly, about the same as a daily rate elsewhere. It's no Copacabana Palace, of course, but I couldn't find anything cheaper in BH. For me, this is better value than renting a one-bedroom apartment downtown. I'd recommend it to separated men looking for a place to stay until their next home.

The sound insulation was awful, the paint had mold and needed repair, and the elevator felt prehistoric. There's also a motel on the first floor of the same hotel. Worst of all, a company jacket went missing from my room. They said they'd get back to me about it, but nearly a month after my stay, I've heard nothing. This was my first and last time here. If you want to be robbed, this is the place.

For hotels in central BH, this one gives the best value, but it's very basic. It's clean, with old furniture, cable TV, and a hot shower. Breakfast is basic too.

The night receptionist was rude, had no manners, and the service was terrible. If you want to pay little and be treated badly, this place fits. If good service and a warm welcome matter to you, go somewhere else. I'm not coming back.
