Motel Empire

We've stayed here three times while traveling, mainly to spend the night and rest. The reception staff are friendly and very helpful, and it's right by the highway, quite close to downtown BH. The rooms could use some maintenance, but in my case it hasn't stopped me from getting the rest I need as a traveler.

They need more staff. The shower water is always cold, and the attendants are constantly busy because of the high demand. Cleanliness needs to improve, the Wi-Fi is awful, and some TVs don't work. Unfortunately, it's better to go somewhere else until they improve things.

After staying here for 10 years, I spent the night of 28/012/2024 there for what will be the last time. The place has really gone downhill. The windows and a door were broken, and the shower was hardly ever hot. The rooms were dirty, especially room 16, where I stayed for my last two overnights. There were dirty walls, moths, and a loose panel behind the bed. Some guests put used toilet paper in the gap behind it. The minibar was grimy too. My girlfriend is outraged by the condition of the place. The attendants were fine, but the management has a lot to answer for. It used to be very good, but I can't recommend it anymore.

I stayed here on the morning of 30/06/2024 and was treated with disrespect by the staff on duty. They charged me for something that their own policy said wasn't allowed, but they still went ahead and did it. The day before, I'd stayed there under the same policy during earlier visits and there had been no issue or embarrassment. I go there sometimes because it's close to home, but I won't recommend it and plan to take the matter to consumer protection. The way I was exposed in front of other customers was humiliating. The place was poorly cleaned, had no toilet paper or soap, and felt like a dump. There was no professionalism or organization, and the treatment of customers was awful. Avoid it.
