Villa Concordia

Awful. I booked a room with a private bathroom, but when I arrived I was told it was occupied. The attendant said she couldn’t refuse the room to the woman who had it because she was elderly. Instead, she offered me a room with no bathroom or fan and dirty pillowcases, while still wanting to charge the same price. Then she marked me as a no-show on Booking, even though I was there. I also waited about half an hour in the hot sun while the attendant tried to find the person with the house key. The garage was blocked in too. I found a hotel nearby that was much cheaper and much better.

The inn needs a lot of maintenance. Furniture was broken and had woodworm, and the dusty furnishings and moldy minibar didn’t help. The unused pool held rainwater, creating a place where dengue could breed. There were lots of clothes moths and ants in the room, exposed electrical wires, and just one outlet, which didn’t work. It’s far from downtown with no shops nearby, and the street is noisy and poorly lit.

I spent 20 days at this inn while taking a course in BH. It’s a very quiet, clean place, with breakfast, and it’s close to the bus station. There are snack bars, supermarkets, and self-service restaurants nearby, so I’d recommend staying here without hesitation. Lots of people also come just for the weekend to take competitive exams.

The service was excellent. Such a beautiful, cozy place, and everything was really clean!
