Maga Inn House - Vila Germânica

The location and service were wonderful. There was a moldy smell, though, and the walls were peeling. Since the walls are drywall, noise travels right between the rooms. Breakfast was simple but tasty and did the job, so it made up for a lot.

It’s a basic place. They asked me to schedule a time for breakfast, but when I arrived at the agreed time there was no breakfast and no staff at the hotel. I waited about 20 minutes, and nobody showed up.

The room could use better ventilation. A vent in the ceiling or front door might solve that easily. The shower enclosure also could have been cleaner.

For a night with one or two people, it may be worth it if a low price is your main concern. My family of four found it cramped. The mattresses were good, but the pillows weren’t. I don’t know if it was because I went on a weekend, but nobody was at reception. When we left, I spent about 10 minutes looking for someone to hand the key to. I thought about ringing the bell, but couldn’t find it. Our room, safira, smelled moldy. The bathroom was so narrow I had to sit on the toilet sideways, the shower enclosure wasn’t very clean, and the shower didn’t heat properly. I already shared my feedback hoping they’d make improvements, but I can see there are several similar reports.
