The location is very good, about a 10-minute walk from Vila Germânica, but that's the only upside. I stayed here about three years ago, when Clenito looked after guests and was very attentive. This time everything was arranged with a woman I never saw, who said her daughter would meet us at check-in. Instead, a young man showed up with such a bad attitude it rubbed off on us. Parking is awful too. My medium-sized car barely gets in and out, with the mirrors scraping the wall.

The staff were genuinely great and friendly, with a welcoming manner that made a difference. The Pousada da Cia de Blumenau is also excellent value, and its location near Vila Germânica makes it easy to walk to the city's main tourist attraction. I did find natural airflow in the rooms lacking, especially for someone who prefers not to use air conditioning. Improving that would make the stay more comfortable for different kinds of travelers. Overall, I had a very positive stay.

My family and I had a great stay and hope to return soon. The host was attentive and took good care of the place. It was clean and comfortable, with a good setup, and the location worked well, near both the event center where Oktoberfest takes place and the historic center.

Nothing worked properly. The TV and internet were lousy, everything was badly arranged, and the bedding and cleanliness were terrible. We were also threatened by the owner's husband. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It's a real hostel, as he himself called it, and the mattress looked like it had come from a donation.

I love the orchid house and all the other flowers they grow there. The host and his daughter are polite and helpful, and the place is very clean and safe. It's well located, very close to Vila Germânica, and the price is great. I stay at this pousada regularly and recommend it wholeheartedly.
