We went as a family and found the accommodation excellent. It's simple, but had everything I needed. Everything was clean and working, and it's two blocks from the beach, close to everything.

The location is excellent, right by the beach and near a wide range of shops. You can leave the car behind if you want to relax and enjoy yourself. Praia das Conchas and Ilha do Japonês are very close. Rooms are cleaned daily, the service is very good, and they respect quiet hours, so there's no rowdiness. I'd suggest choosing accommodation with a sea view. Those rooms are breezier, with excellent natural light. They have split air conditioning, a smart TV, and a minibar.
