The wildlife is what made this stay unforgettable for us. We woke to wild pigs in the morning, and seeing monkeys and crocodiles up close was amazing for photos and fun to watch. They really are wild, though. Monkeys can take your things, the crocodiles come close to the dock, and pigs may bite if they feel threatened. Keep your belongings safe and your arms, legs, and kids at a distance. This place takes common sense, especially with little children. It’s a lovely base for visiting the Pantanal, with boat access to the river and the option to drive in. The rooms were clean and reasonably well kept, the facilities were good, and the pool and games made it family friendly. Everyone on staff was welcoming and super friendly.
