Vale Suiço Resort

We spent three nights here in March, a nice break before heading to GRU. There are plenty of good perks: four solid meals a day, heated pools, and lots for kids to do, including a mini zoo. A few things could be better. Families with small children could be placed farther from the pool, where the music is VERY loud. The bathrooms are tiny, and the design means you have to use the toilet with the door partly open. The AC lights in the rooms never turn off. Those are minor issues, though, and shouldn't put you off. You'll have a good time.

We stayed for two nights in February, and the facilities were great for families, with all kinds of activities. My son was excited about the kids' program that ran all day, and I had a lot of fun playing soccer at 5 p.m. The thing that impressed me most was getting my swim jacket back. I'd lost it at the pool and had already given up looking, but the staff found it and kept it safe. I was really surprised and impressed by that here in Brazil. They provide professional service.

The recreational team is great and kept the kids entertained. Since the place isn't very big, you can keep an eye on them easily. It's a nice spot for a week with children. A couple of tips: beer is very expensive, so bring your own. The water slide can ruin your swimwear, so bring an old one.

A beautiful resort for conventions and family time, with an awesome view of the mountains and lake.
