8/10
The staff were super friendly, and I liked the restaurant too. Breakfast was good and the facilities were nice. My room was okay, though the bathroom towels felt poor quality and there weren’t any clothes hangers. It wasn’t a bad stay, just not up to the usual Novotel standard for me, more like a Mercure.
6/10
The location is excellent, with two parks nearby. The furniture is old, though, and there was mold in the bathroom.
10/10
I stayed at the Novotel for a week-long conference and had a great time. The staff were wonderful and very accommodating, and if I needed help in English they were willing to find someone who could speak it. Having a refrigerator and coffee and tea in my room was great. The hotel restaurant’s food was good for breakfast and lunch. After a week, the breakfast buffet got a little repetitive. I didn’t eat dinner there.
8/10
The breakfast was outstanding and the staff were friendly. The bed and room were good, and the hotel was comfortable, but to me the overall quality fell short of what I expected from a Novohotel.
6/10
The room was filthy. Black mold covered the walls and ceiling, and the floor was so sticky I had to shuffle around on the bathmat. They used a lot of air freshener dispensers in the hallways, apparently to cover the mildew smell. The place needs a bloody good scrub.
