We spent a few days at Cabanas Mountain and loved the whole stay. The cabins are rustic, and the setting is lovely, surrounded by nature and quiet. We were looked after well from check-in through check-out, and we plan to return.

This place was awful. The road up was horribly steep, full of potholes, and felt unsafe. We arrived at the top at night to what looked like an abandoned house, with only a wheelbarrow there and no parking. There wasn’t much of a reception either. I called the phone number but couldn’t reach anyone, so I went back down and stayed at a hotel. The next day I tried to cancel, but still got no reply. I lost 600.00 and the place gave me no help at all. Don’t ignore the reviews like I did. TERRIBLE PLACE.

Lovely, peaceful place with a beautiful view and good service. Keep in mind that the final stretch is a dirt road.

It’s a wonderful place, right out in the woods, with an incredible view. The road seems to have been fixed up, though some cars might have trouble with it. As for the bad reviews, here’s my take: if you’re a middle-class person acting like a rich snob, driving a basic car, paying for a two-star hotel and demanding five-star accommodation, this probably isn’t for you. Though honestly, you’d have a hard time finding anywhere you’d consider good.
