Chris Wellness Resort Hotel

We really loved the hotel. I brought a bottle of wine to the pool at night, and the staff opened it and lent us two glasses so we could relax in the warm water. I went with my wife, our two kids, and my mom. The rooms connected but were separate, which worked perfectly. The drive into the city took about eight minutes. Breakfast was nice too, and we had a great time.

The view was the best part, you can see all of Campos do Jordão from there. The hotel has plenty of good-sized rooms, excellent service, a great breakfast, and a fantastic heated pool.

We were given a different room from the one we booked. It smelled moldy, like a warehouse, and I had to step outside just to look out. We complained, and the hotel said they’d refund us if we checked out. I packed everything and left at 10 p.m., but then they refused to give us a refund. It was the worst experience, with such unfriendly and hopeless service. I never want to go back. Why does this hotel have such a high rating?

I had lunch there. The weekend menu doesn’t have many choices, but the dishes are healthy and good, and the prices are fair. There’s a great view over Campos do Jordão, probably the best of any restaurant.
