Hotel Ascona

A great hotel, and the prices are fair.

The hotel felt peaceful and welcoming, like being at home. I stayed from 19/10 to 23/10 in Standard Double room “4,” near reception, and everything worked perfectly. The heater wasn't strong enough for the whole room, but the blankets kept us warm. The staff were polite and welcoming, and treated us very well. The housekeepers were lovely, as were the cooks. A special thanks to the receptionist Ricardo for being so friendly and making us feel welcome from arrival until we left. Breakfast had lots of variety and was all well prepared. It's pet friendly and has its own Golden dog, Tulum, who's sweet, gentle, obedient, and adored by the guests. I fell in love with him too. I'd only suggest posting more often on social media. I follow the hotel's Instagram because I hope to return, and would love to see Tulum updates or guest posts in the stories. Keeping the page active would bring back the memories and make people want to return sooner.

The hotel is clean and smells fresh, and the bed linens were clean and fresh too. The staff were helpful and attentive. I loved the afternoon tea, and breakfast was generous, with everything really fresh. You can walk to central Capivari in about 15 minutes. I have no complaints, definitely recommend it. Ten out of ten.

A great place to unwind peacefully, and a handy base for seeing the city. It's about a 15-minute walk to central Capivari, and at the bottom of the hotel street you'll find Cacau Show, Spinassi, and the themed café Sans Souci. We loved our stay. The hotel was cozy and spotless, and the staff were welcoming and polite. Breakfast was complete and very tasty. I especially loved the mini chicken croissant and the sweet with guava paste, though I can't remember its name. I'll be back!
