Pousada Castelo Hanisch

Fantastic.

The pousada is right in front of Bosque do Silêncio, and close to the sights: 4 minutes from Ducha da Prata and 6 from Parque Capivari and the center. It’s peaceful and quiet, a lovely place to unwind. Our room had a whirlpool and a view, and everything was clean and well cared for. There were lots of breakfast choices, all wonderful. They also leave delicious sweets at reception for guests every day, with water and coffee available 24 hours. We’ll definitely be back, though our heating wasn’t working and it got quite cold at night. The blankets were enough, but it was a shame since we paid for heating and maintenance couldn’t get there during our stay. My husband requested rose petals on the bed, and they were made of TNT, haha, but okay, everything else was perfect. The welcome was warm, and they do everything they can to make your stay great.

I’ve just finished my stay today, 20/02/2026, after four days and three nights, and I’m leaving completely satisfied. The room was comfortable and cozy, the services were great, and breakfast was very good. The location itself was fantastic, and I’d gladly book again sometime soon. A big thank you to Cristina at reception, who was incredibly attentive, kind, and lovely to both me and my wife, and took great care of what I needed.

This pousada has a calm, family feel, and there are several different areas to relax and spend some leisure time. It’s a comfortable, peaceful place to stay, and I recommend it. The staff are friendly, attentive, and helpful, which made our visit enjoyable. Our room was clean, cozy, and well equipped. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with a variety of choices for different tastes. The location also makes it easy to get to the main places of interest in the area.
